The tanks, all of which are the latest generation, are equipped with pumps, liter counters and ship hooks to speed up refueling operations and respond accurately to customer demands, and deliveries can be made independently at the customer's site, thanks to constant remote monitoring of the tank level.

To date, LNG is the only solution capable of overcoming the obvious difficulties created by the lack of natural gas and the geographic distance between the extraction wells and the places of use, and thanks to the liquefaction process, which takes place at a temperature of about - 162 °C, there is a considerable reduction in the volume of gas by about 600 times, which allows, at competitive costs, the storage and transport of considerable amounts of energy in considerably reduced spaces.

The possibility of transporting it in tanks and containers of different sizes makes it possible to reach all regasification plants and ensure flexibility in supply without considering that through the use of one Liquefied Natural Gas tank vehicle, it is possible to transport an amount of LNG equivalent to that contained in about 12 Compressed Natural Gas tank vehicles at 65 bar.

I vantaggi di questo combustibile, tuttavia, non si limitano solamente alla flessibilità nelle forniture e all’efficienza nello stoccaggio, il gas metano è infatti il combustibile fossile più pulito e la sua combustione produce solo vapore acqueo ed una piccola parte di anidride carbonica, molto inferiore rispetto a quella prodotta dalla combustione di altri combustibili di origine fossile.
Il GNL, dopo essere stato rigassificato in gas metano, garantisce una combustione sostanzialmente priva di residui quali polveri o fuliggini e non presenta rischi di inquinamento delle acque e del suolo.
